đź“– 1 John 2:15-17 (ESV)
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
People let us down.
Happiness fades.
Money runs out.
The temporary things of this world will always disappoint or leave us empty. Yet despite knowing this, our flesh still craves the world—its pleasures, its validation, its distractions. That is, until we truly surrender to Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with lasting joy, peace, and contentment.
📖 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23
In today’s cancel culture, people will praise you one day and condemn you the next. One disagreement, one mistake, and the love people claimed to have for you flips into rejection and shame. Over and over, the world proves itself temporary—and we’re left searching for meaning, purpose, and identity.
But then enters the grace of God.
God doesn’t cancel.
He doesn’t condemn.
He doesn’t change based on your last performance.
Even when we rebel. Even when we’re selfish, arrogant, or flat-out disobedient—He remains. He loves. He pursues. He forgives.
This is the unchanging, unshakable love of God. And this is where you’ll find your foundation, your joy, and your peace.
🎯 Man of God,
Your flesh will be tempted by the counterfeit comfort this world offers. The enemy loves to package up bondage and sell it as quick satisfaction. But don’t be fooled.
📖 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23
That temporary fix will always fade.
But God’s love? It’s eternal.
Surrender to Christ.
Let Him fill what the world keeps failing to satisfy.
You were made for more than momentary pleasure—you were made for everlasting life.
Keep pressing in. Keep choosing the eternal.
God Bless. 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿
