Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.
Colossians 3:12
We can learn something from everyone. The real question is—are we humble enough to listen? Too often, our ego gets in the way. Our flesh whispers that someone younger than us can’t be wise, or that a gas station attendant couldn’t possibly have something to teach us about God. But humility opens our eyes.
That younger coworker may teach you about patience. That cashier may be working a double shift, saving every dollar for their child’s medical procedure. And when we rush past them, too consumed with ourselves, we not only miss the lesson God planted in that encounter—we fail to show them Christ’s love.
Pride blinds us. Humility reveals God’s image in others. Christ died for ALL of us—not just the people we think are worthy. When we walk in humility, we don’t just honor others—we praise God and reflect His glory to the world!
Daily Challenge
Today, take a moment to slow down and intentionally show humility. Ask God to reveal one lesson through an unexpected person you encounter. Listen. Learn. Honor them as an image-bearer of Christ.
Lord, You humbly lived and died for me. Help me treat others with the humility and honor You exemplify. Thank You for the sacrifice You made and the grace You give. Guide me to walk humbly, see people through Your eyes, and be the man You have called me to be. All glory and praise to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Fruit Isn’t for the Tree
Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
Romans 12:6-8
God didn’t bless you with gifts, talents, and abilities just for yourself. The fruit isn’t for the tree—it’s for others to taste!
Your voice wasn’t given to sing in the shower.
Your writing wasn’t given to argue on Facebook.
Your speaking skills weren’t given to spread gossip.
Every good and perfect gift comes from above. God planted the seed—it’s your responsibility to cultivate it, feed it, and let it grow until others can enjoy the fruit of your labor.
If you are called to serve—serve with love and grace.
If you are called to teach—teach with discipline, integrity, and wisdom.
If you are called to lead—lead with zeal, passion, and faith.
Hard work and dedication are gratitude in action. Obedience is love in action. You were created with a purpose, and God’s plan for you is flawless. Walk in faith, knowing He will never leave or forsake you. We all have a role to play, and when we use our gifts, we honor the Giver.
Daily Challenge
👉 Don’t let today pass without using your gift. Identify one God-given ability and put it into action for someone else before the day ends. Fruit isn’t meant to stay on the tree—share it!
Heavenly Father, I am Your workmanship. You created me with purpose, love, and intention. You gave me gifts, talents, and abilities to fulfill the plan You designed for my life. Lord, help me to see the value of these gifts, and empower me to use them for Your glory and the good of those I serve. Thank You for all You have done, all You are doing, and all You will do. All glory, honor, and praise to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lazarus, Come Out!
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:25
Lazarus, come out! Jesus raised the dead! Mary and Martha were grieving, the people around them thought the story was finished—but God! Jesus stepped on the scene and declared that He is the resurrection and the life.
Life has moments that feel like the end. Losing a job. A marriage crumbling. The death of someone you love. Failure so heavy it crushes you. Circumstances that convince you this is it. But Jesus is still speaking: “Lazarus, come out!”
People worried about the stench of death when Jesus told them to open the tomb. Isn’t that us? We think our failures make us stink. We believe the shame, the funk, and the unworthiness are permanent. But Christ reminds us: “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
The old is gone, the new has come. The same voice that called Lazarus out of the grave is the same voice that lifts you out of despair, shame, and hopelessness. Jesus didn’t just give Lazarus life—He gave him new life. Abundant life. And that same power is alive in you.
If Christ defeated death itself, what makes you think a setback is too much for Him? Darkness comes. Life will “life.” But with Jesus, we always have the light of life. Remember: you can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you.
Lord, life be lifing—but Jesus is always Christing! You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. When hardships weigh me down, remind me of Your power to raise, restore, and renew. Thank You for the cross, the empty tomb, and the abundant life You promise. Just as You called Lazarus out of the grave, call me out of my dark places. All glory, honor, and praise to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Challenge: Today, identify one area of your life that feels dead, buried, or hopeless. Write it down in your journal. Then, speak John 11:25 over that situation out loud:
“Jesus is the resurrection and the life.”
After you speak it, pray and declare: “Lazarus, come out!” over that part of your life. Believe that Jesus has the power to resurrect what feels finished.
💡 Extra step: Share this with a brother in Christ. Tell him the area you’re believing Jesus to resurrect, and ask him to hold you accountable in prayer this week.

It’s an Inside Job
They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them.
Romans 2:15
Many men are trying to solve an internal problem with an external solution. We chase hacks, pills, or shortcuts, believing the next move will finally bring peace.
But the truth is, the solution has been with us the entire time. Some of us have even treated God’s way as a prison instead of the path to freedom. We blame people and circumstances until we finally reach the end of ourselves—and there, at rock bottom, stands the foot of the cross.
Every option the world offers leaves us empty. The only thing we haven’t tried is the very thing that has been guiding us all along. God has always been speaking. We’ve just insisted on doing it our way.
The solution isn’t in a new job, a new city, or a new relationship. The problem is not external—it’s internal. The answer is written on your heart. The question is, do you TRULY want to be transformed?
Let God search your heart. Surrender what you already know is holding you back and walk boldly into the purpose He designed for you. Transformation begins inside.
Heavenly Father, search my heart. Show me where I’ve chased external fixes while ignoring Your voice within. Strengthen me to release what keeps me from Your purpose. I give You every corner of my life. Mold me into the man You designed me to be. All glory and honor belong to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
💪 Daily Challenge
Spend 10 quiet minutes today with no phone, no music, no distractions.
Ask God to reveal one internal change He’s been pressing on your heart.
Write it down, pray over it, and take one small action toward obedience before the day ends.

The Company You Keep
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
1 Corinthians 6:14 (ESV)
Show me the five people you spend the most time with, and I’ll show you your future. We’ve all heard the phrase, “Birds of a feather flock together.” Humans are wired for connection. We naturally seek community—people with whom we identify, share mindsets, and enjoy doing life alongside. But here’s the truth: the more time you spend with someone, the greater their influence becomes.
Strong willpower isn’t enough. Prolonged exposure to temptation weakens resistance. If the people closest to you encourage sin or justify unrighteous behavior, they’re not friends—they’re stumbling blocks. Real friends sharpen you. Brothers build up. They challenge, correct, and lovingly pull you back when you drift. A true friend is a catalyst, not a complication.
God calls us to be fruit inspectors. Look at the evidence of someone’s life. Do they produce love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control? Surround yourself with men who exhibit the fruits of the Spirit and push you toward Christ. Because if you hang out at the barbershop long enough, you will get a haircut. Spend too much time with people who mock God’s standards, and eventually, you’ll fall.
Choose wisely. The company you keep will either pull you closer to God’s purpose or drag you further from it.
Lord, thank You for the gift of discernment. Help me surround myself with men who keep You first, sharpen my character, and challenge me to become the man You’ve called me to be. Give me the courage to set boundaries with those who lead me away from You. Protect me from stumbling blocks and guide me into Your perfect will. All glory, honor, and praise to You, Father. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Daily Challenge: Draw the Line- This week, write down your five closest relationships. Pray over each name and ask: “Are they pulling me toward Christ or away?” Pick one relationship that needs a boundary. Begin applying it by the next meeting or interaction.
Goal: Take one step to break ties with an influence that wrenches you from God’s path and anchor yourself in Christ-centered brotherhood.

God Doesn’t Owe You — You Owe God
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
God doesn’t owe us anything—He already paid it all on the cross.
Ask yourself: Do I worship in expectation?
Too many of us treat worship like a transaction, expecting blessings in return and putting God in our debt. But the truth is reversed—we owe Him.
The Creator of heaven and earth gave us life, breath, and a world full of abundance. In return, humanity gave disobedience and disrespect. And still, God remains gracious. Yet we still want more. We obey, then secretly demand good fortune. We worship, then look for riches.
Life itself is the reward. Grace is the reward. Waking up this morning was a gift. The ultimate sacrifice of Jesus is more than enough. God never promised Lamborghinis or penthouses. Abundance isn’t luxury—it’s breath in your lungs, food on the table, people who love you, and a Savior who redeems you.
Stop chasing “more.” Start noticing what God has already provided. He is your Provider and Protector. A good Father gives what is required; everything else is overflow.
Father, You owe me nothing, yet You gave me everything in Christ.
Forgive me for expecting blessings in exchange for obedience.
Thank You for what You have done, are doing, and will do.
Teach me to live with an attitude of gratitude, knowing You have already done it all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Daily Challenge: Give away time, talent, or a meal to someone in need without expecting recognition.
Goal: Practice sacrificial giving as a reflection of Christ’s ultimate sacrifice.

Clear Your Vision Before You Correct
Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.
Matthew 7:3-5 (ESV)
It’s easy to criticize others. When someone offends us or acts out, we often feel entitled to correct them—and if they ignore our advice, we can feel hurt or disrespected. But we can’t force anyone to change, and who says our advice is always right?
Jesus warns us to take the log out of our own eye before trying to remove a speck from someone else’s. If your life is full of drama and chaos, how can you help someone manage theirs? Would you take financial advice from someone drowning in debt? Then why expect others to follow your counsel if you’re not living a life worth admiring?
Clean your own house before offering housekeeping hacks. If you can’t see past the weeds in your own garden, how can you spot the rotten fruit next door? Start with yourself. Focus on your growth. Build a garden filled with flowers and let its beauty inspire others to blossom.
Challenge:
Pause before offering advice today. Ask God to reveal the “log” in your own heart and take one concrete step to remove it.
Prayer:
Father, open my eyes to my own blind spots. Please give me the humility to grow before I try to guide others. Strengthen me to lead by example. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Mark 8:29
| Jesus embodies true freedom, unconditional love, endless grace, and perfect righteousness. He is the truth and the path to eternal life (John 14:6). Jesus is salvation and the ultimate healer. “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24). Without Him, we remain bound by sin, but through His sacrifice we are set free and made new. Jesus is transformation and revelation, opening our eyes to sin we would otherwise ignore and guiding us into the light of God’s truth. He is the Word made flesh (John 1:14), the wisdom of God, and the Creator through whom all things were made (Colossians 1:16). Jesus models humility and perseverance, showing us how to serve and suffer with purpose (Philippians 2:5-8). He teaches us how to love, lead, speak truth, and extend grace even to those who oppose us. Humanity desperately needs Jesus, for “there is no other name under Heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). The blood He shed on the cross is our only hope for forgiveness and eternal life. Jesus is the second Adam, through whom sin is washed away and we are made white as snow (Isaiah 1:18). He is my Redeemer, Savior, and King, fully God and fully man, who conquered death so that I may live. Jesus is not only the Son of God, but also the Living Lord who reigns today, guiding my life and calling me to reflect His love until the day He returns. God Bless! 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿 Coach Corey |
Paid in Full
I find immense hope and optimism in the grace of God. It is extremely relieving to know that God, our sovereign and eternally just Heavenly Father, has a heart filled with mercy and grace for His creation that has spent a lifetime blatantly disobeying Him. I deserve punishment, not grace. God has done so much for me, and for years, I was disrespectful and pompous. I am by no means perfect, but knowing my Heavenly Father shows grace and provides guidance gives me strength and fills my heart with hope for the future. God created humanity out of love. God guides us and molds us out of love. But humankind is arrogant and entitled. So many people live as if God owes them something, but He has already paid in full, and our reward is His grace and our eternal salvation paid for by the blood of Christ on the cross!
God Bless!

Be the City on the Hill
📖 Matthew 5:14–16 (ESV)
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
This BIG light of mine…I’m gonna let it shine!
Man of God, YOU are the light of the world!
The light of the Lord lives in you, and where His light dwells, there is no darkness at all. His light isn’t just a flicker—it’s powerful, beautiful, and freeing! It breaks through generational curses, exposes hidden sin, and reveals the path to life and righteousness!
📖 Romans 13:12 (ESV)
“The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.”
When frustration rises and anger creeps in, remember—you are filled with the light of the Lord. Don’t let your flesh become a stumbling block. Temptation is guaranteed, but your response is warfare. As a man of God, you are called not just to avoid darkness, but to expose it.
📖 Ephesians 5:11 (ESV)
“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”
Don’t dim your light to fit in. Don’t shrink to be accepted. Stand bold. Stand bright. Stand apart. Bad company corrupts good morals, and the Spirit of God in you refuses to compromise. Jesus is the light of the world—and because of Him, you carry that same light.
His Word is your guide.
📖 Psalm 119:105 (ESV)
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Even when life feels like a long, dark road, God’s light shines through. He will guide you step by step. His light will never be overcome.
📖 John 1:5 (ESV)
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
Let it shine, Man of God. Bright. Unashamed. On a mission. 🔥
God Bless! 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿
