Man of God, it’s time for some real talk.
Get. Out. Of. The. Way.
We sabotage ourselves more than we realize. The crazy part? Our ego is usually the main culprit. If you asked your ego, it would swear you’re doing everything right. Grinding. Pushing. Hustling harder than the rest. You’ve even got the perfect response locked and loaded when someone asks what you’ve been up to:
You break it down like a boss — goals, strategy, hustle, sacrifices — the whole nine. It sounds good. You sound like an animal. A warrior. The man.
But here’s the truth:
What your ego says, and what’s actually true, are often two completely different things.
The ego is a master manipulator. It’s designed to protect you, especially your feelings. It shields you from discomfort, excuses you from accountability, and whispers sweet lies that keep you stuck.
But God isn’t trying to protect your comfort.
He’s trying to grow your character.
And growth? It hurts.
That’s why Hebrews 12:11 hits so hard. Discipline is painful. Sacrifice is uncomfortable. But it’s in that pain — in the pressure — that the fruit of righteousness is born.
So stop running from the fire.
Let it forge you!
Deny your flesh. Deny your ego. Break the bonds of your comfort zone and surrender to the refining process. Only then can you rise and build the life of purpose God designed you for!
Don’t just get motivated.
Get transformed!
God Bless 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿

Nothing New Under the Sun: Stand Firm, Man of God
“What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.”— Ecclesiastes 1:9 (ESV)
Man of God — hear this loud and clear: You are NOT crazy. You are NOT weird. You are NOT alone.
The enemy would love for you to believe that no one understands you. That your convictions make you a misfit. That your faith disqualifies you from brotherhood. That because you don’t fit the mold, you don’t have value.
LIES! STRAIGHT FROM HELL!
There is nothing new under the sun. That anxious thought? Been battled. That temptation? Already defeated. That “quirk” you think makes you strange? You’re not the first — and you won’t be the last.
The enemy plays on isolation. But God builds in community. You are part of a brotherhood of warriors who’ve fought these very battles and found victory through Christ.
You’re not strange — you’re SET APART.
You were never called to fit in — you were called to STAND OUT.
You weren’t created to blend — you were created to BUILD.
You weren’t made for the world’s applause — you were anointed for GOD’S PURPOSE.
That feeling of loneliness? Even Jesus felt it. That temptation to conform? Christ overcame it. That fear that creeps in when you choose obedience? EVERY REAL MAN OF GOD has felt it. And yet, they pressed forward. And so will you.
So today, SEIZE THE DAY!
Take every thought captive!
Silence the lies!
Rebuke the shame!
Commend yourself for being BOLD in the Spirit.
Remember: You are not that boy who walked in his flesh — you are a HOLY GHOST-FILLED, PURPOSE-DRIVEN MAN OF GOD!
Let go of temporary pleasures. Cling to the eternal truth.
This week…
Walk with FIRE!
Walk with AUTHORITY!
Walk in your IDENTITY!
You’ve been equipped. You’ve been called. You’ve been CHOSEN.
It’s time for you to live TRANSFORMED BY TRUTH and WALK IN PURPOSE like never before.
LET’S GO, KINGDOM MAN!
THE WEEK IS YOURS! CLAIM IT!
🗣️🔥 God Bless!— Corey Brooks Sr. | @Corey.Transforms
Obedience: Love in Action
Obedience.
This word often stirs up ideas of control, force, or slavery. But that is not God’s design. Obedience in the kingdom isn’t about oppression—it’s about devotion. Obedience is love in action.
Obedience is WILLINGLY placing your trust in the One you’ve committed to follow. It’s saying, “God, I trust You more than I trust myself.” He has already provided all that we need, and in return, He invites us to obey—not by force, but through free will.
Yes, people can achieve worldly success while walking in disobedience. But worldly success without God’s presence is ultimately empty. The truth? Many reach the top only to find that it means nothing without peace, purpose, and God’s love anchoring it.
Obedience is stepping out of your comfort zone and fully embracing all God has for you. It’s trusting His voice when the world screams otherwise. It’s saying yes to His will even when it costs you your preferences.
Romans 12:11-12
Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Let that sink in:
Be constant in prayer.
When the pressure is on, is prayer your first response—or your last resort?
Joel 2:12-13
“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments.”
God isn’t looking for outward performance—He wants your heart. When we fall short, He’s still calling us back with open arms. He’s gracious. Merciful. Slow to anger. Abounding in steadfast love.
So, man of God—what’s stopping you?
You’ve been equipped with spiritual weapons, but are you using them? Or are you justifying spiritual stagnation and calling it “waiting on God”?
The Bible never promised ease—it promised victory through Christ.
You already have everything you need to conquer and overcome.
The question is: Are you walking in it?
Obedience is not weakness.
Obedience is power under submission.
Obedience is war strategy for the man of God.
And obedience is love—fully trusting that God’s way is always best.
God Bless 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿
ALL THINGS. NEVER AGAIN FEAR EVIL.
📖 Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
📖 Zephaniah 3:15 – “The Lord has taken away the judgments against you;
he has cleared away your enemies.
The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst;
you shall never again fear evil.”
ALL THINGS.
NEVER AGAIN FEAR EVIL.
How many times does the Word of God tell us we are UNSTOPPABLE as men of God? Yet…how often do we actually believe it?
We call ourselves believers—but when it comes down to it, many of us only believe what’s safe. What makes sense. What the world approves of. We don’t let the Word empower us, because our flesh tries to rationalize it, minimize it, or flat-out reject it.
But God didn’t give you a spirit of fear, brother.
He gave you power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
📣 Philippians 4:13 says we can do ALL THINGS through Christ. Not just the easy things. Not just the socially acceptable things. ALL. THINGS.
So what’s stopping you?
The fear?
The doubt?
The self-sabotage?
That’s not of God—that’s the enemy whispering lies.
And Zephaniah 3:15 silences those lies: “You shall NEVER AGAIN fear evil.”
It’s time to rebuke every mindset that tells you you’re not enough.
It’s time to reject the lie that says you’re stuck.
It’s time to receive the truth that Christ has already given you the strength, power, and freedom to rise.
If we truly are BELIEVERS, then it’s time to believe ALL of God’s Word—not just the parts the world agrees with.
🔥 Believe it.
🔥 Feel it.
🔥 Live it.
🔥 Walk in your purpose and power, man of God.
God bless. 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿
The POWER of Sacrifice
Romans 12:1-2 (ESV)
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Sacrifice — The destruction or surrender of something for the sake of something else.
At first glance, this might sound intimidating. Is God asking us to destroy ourselves just to be acceptable to Him?
Absolutely not.
God’s love isn’t conditional on your appearance, your past, or your achievements. His love is constant. But giving your life to Christ DOES mean sacrificing the life you had—the old way of thinking, living, and reacting—in order to walk with Him in the life that lies ahead.
And yes, it will be hard.
There will be hardship. There will be obstacles.
But one thing that must go is the “I can’t” mindset.
Take a moment to reflect:
What parts of your mindset and lifestyle must be sacrificed to truly live a life that glorifies God?
You might think these sacrifices are too great. But remember what Philippians 4:13 says: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Paul wrote that from a prison cell, enduring hardship for the sake of his faith. And yet, he still declared the strength and hope he had in Christ.
That’s the mindset of a transformed man.
Sacrificing comfort is hard.
Letting go of the familiar is hard.
Doing the inner work is hard.
But with sacrifice comes POWER and FREEDOM.
Sacrifice the man who walked according to the world,
And become the man God called you to be.
Let His will transform you.
Let His Spirit renew your mind.
Let your life glorify your Creator.
God bless. 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿
Take Back Your Power!
“The enemy made me do it.”
We’ve all said it. Whether it’s fast food, lust, impulse buying, or laziness—men of God often blame every stumble on satan. But let’s be honest: sometimes the devil ain’t even in the room…it’s just us, giving in.
“Man, the enemy is really on me. I can’t stop eating fast food. The devil always tempts me with the things he knows I can’t resist.”
“I know I don’t need these new Jordans, but everyone else has them. I’ll just work overtime and make up the money—rent can wait.”
“I’m a man—I have physical needs. If she won’t give me what I want, I’ll get it somewhere else…or handle it myself. The enemy attacks me when I’m weak. It’s not fair.”
Brother…enough.
It’s time to stop using the enemy as a scapegoat for every bad decision!
Yes, satan is working overtime—but so are our excuses. God has given us everything we need to overcome temptation. His Word is our weapon. His Spirit gives us self-discipline and power (2 Timothy 1:7). We have a choice.
When we pass the blame, we give our power away—the power to change, to grow, and to break cycles. It’s time to say:
“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I REFUSE TO LET MY FLESH DICTATE MY DIRECTION!”
Psalm 118:24 reminds us:
“This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
That means today—not tomorrow. Today is the day to stand up and fight back.
The enemy doesn’t wait until you’re ready. He prowls like a roaring lion, waiting to strike (1 Peter 5:8). So what are you waiting for?! Fight back. Stand tall! Don’t fold! Don’t retreat!
God is with you!
“No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed…”
— Isaiah 54:17
Psalm 118:1–10 (ESV)
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!
Let Israel say, “His steadfast love endures forever.”
Let the house of Aaron say, “His steadfast love endures forever.”
Let those who fear the LORD say, “His steadfast love endures forever.”
Out of my distress I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free.
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
The LORD is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
All nations surrounded me; in the name of the LORD I cut them off!
🛑 Stop blaming the enemy. Start standing in your authority!
✝️ Own your choices. Repent. Pick up your cross and walk.
💥 You are not powerless—you are equipped!
God bless, my brother!
🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿
Who Told You That?
That was God’s question to Adam in Genesis 3:11 after sin entered the garden. And it’s still the question God is asking men today.
The enemy loves to attack our sense of identity—it’s one of his favorite strategies. He doesn’t need to destroy you outright. All he has to do is convince you that you’re not enough… that your past defines you… that you’ll never change… that you’re unworthy of purpose, power, or love.
And once those lies take root, we become stuck.
We throw pity parties no one wants to attend. We isolate. We wallow in self-pity and convince ourselves that the universe is against us. That we’re too far gone. That there’s no point in trying.
LIES!!!!
Every excuse we make… every justification for mediocrity… every moment of negative self-talk… is an arrow the enemy fires to keep us stagnant. He wants us to run from the growth that God is leading us into. And far too often, we do.
But here’s the truth:
🔥 You are a man of God.
🔥 You are filled with the Holy Spirit.
🔥 You are the workmanship of God, created in His image.
🔥 You were born with purpose, and God’s plan for your life has not expired.
Joshua 1:9 commands: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
You’ve let the enemy dictate who you are for long enough.
Now it’s time to stand up and declare the truth:
I am a MAN OF GOD.
My past will not define me.
I am not ashamed of the Gospel.
I am filled with power, purpose, and the Spirit of the Living God.
The enemy attacks identity because he knows the moment you walk in your true identity, you become unstoppable. The moment you stop agreeing with his lies, the chains fall off.
So today, I challenge you:
Reject the lies. Reclaim your identity. And walk boldly in who God says you are.
God bless 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿
Wave the White Flag
Waving a white flag is a symbol of surrender that goes back centuries. The earliest recorded use of this symbol dates back to the Eastern Han Dynasty, which ruled China from 25 to 220 AD. When we give our lives to Christ, surrender is a necessary requirement. As men, our ego often fights this process, telling us that surrender and submission are signs of weakness. Challenge that thought process. See that true strength lies in being vulnerable. Ask yourself where toughing it out has gotten you. Did it get you far? NO! So what’s the point? You know where applying the same strategy you previously applied will take you. But this time things are different. If you go back down that path, you fear you will not survive. Why continue to cling to survival when you can surrender your old self and thrive with Christ?! We want God to do what His word says He can do, but are we willing to surrender to Him? God wants us to experience all He has for us, but that cannot happen if we aren’t willing to surrender everything to Him. When Abram surrendered to God, he was given everything God promised and more. Not only did God fulfill His promise to Abram, but He also gave him a new name-Abraham, the father of nations. The Bible tells us, as Christians, that all things belong to God, including our minds, bodies, and lives. How can we expect God to use what we are not willing to give Him? If we don’t surrender to God, we surrender to chaos, the primary source of calamity in our lives. God gave ALL OF HIMSELF so that we can fully experience His love. Wave the white flag. Fully surrender yourself to Christ and let Him lead you into the life He has designed for you! God Bless! 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿
James 4:1-10 What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”? But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
Equipped
Challenges will arise. You will face difficulty. That, you can count on. But just as certain as hardship is growth. If you endure, adapt, and learn, every challenge presents an opportunity to prepare for the life God has in store for you. Growth can be painful. Muscle soreness is not an aspect of exercise that anyone looks forward to. But the only way to make progress and grow is to push through the soreness, adapt to this lifestyle change, and learn how to improve your recovery process. Growth is required to be great, and greatness is not achieved without an uphill climb. You were created in the image of the GREATEST OF ALL TIME! Don’t be afraid to walk in that power when things get difficult. The enemy will use every tactic and trick in an attempt to make you quit. In those times, remember you are FULLY EQUIPPED! You are covered in the ARMOR OF GOD, and you wield a weapon SHARPER THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD! WALK IN THE POWER OF GOD AND STAND FIRM KNOWING THAT NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU WILL PROSPER!!!!
James 1:12-15 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.
God Bless!! 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿
List of Demands
What have you done for God? So often, we get caught up in this mindset that tells us the Lod is our provider, so He NEEDS TO PROVIDE NOW! Our prayers go from heartfelt messages filled with gratitude and love to a list of demands. We begin to treat God with animosity because He is not giving us what we want when we want it. But ask yourself, what have you done to deserve any of the blessings God has already given you? God has done EVERYTHING for us, yet we still show up and demand more. Today, I challenge you to let your attitude, actions, and words reflect the gratitude and appreciation you feel for all God has done for you. Not only does He breathe life into our lungs every day, He provides our EVERY NEED! God does all of this after providing the path to salvation by way of the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE! But, our flesh will show up and DEMAND MORE! I employ you to LIVE GRATEFUL. Give thanks. Spread love. And stop DEMANDING what you want from God and give PRAISE that Adonai ALWAYS PROVIDES!!! God Bless!!
Romans 5:6-11 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
